Karen P. Palmer, Ph.D.   is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, Shamanic Practitioner, and Soul Memory Discovery facilitator who, since 1992, has studied with Tibetan, Hindu, and Sufi  healers; with Lakota elders; and with Michael Harner’s Foundation for Shamanic Studies.   In 1995, Karen began intensive training with Peruvian Shaman Americo Yabar in the lifeways of Andean cosomology, both in Peru and in the United States. Karen leads Peruvian and core shamanic workshops, conducts drumming circles, and gives seminars and lectures on Peruvian mysticism in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County, CA. She is a former board advisor to the Native American Institute in Orange County.  In 2006, and 2007, she led groups to Peru to work with don Americo Yabar and other indigenous shamans, and is planning a third journey to Peru in 2009.   Karen has published several literary poems, is an author contributor to Steven Farmer’s Sacred Ceremony, and has recently completed, but not yet published, a novel about Peruvian shamanism entitled The Pachacuti Time.  Currently she has a private practice in Costa Mesa, California, with a special emphasis in spiritual psychology.

Chris Donovan is a Denver-based artist, mystical intuitive, shamanic practitioner and Tarot reader for 12Listen.com.  For the past thirty years she has trained with Eastern and Western healers, shamans, and metaphysical practitioners.  She has taught classes and workshops in each of these areas,  and has also lectured on meditation, creativity, the chakras, and the archetypes. Chris first traveled to Peru in 1995 to study with Americo Yabar and has done subsequent workshops with him over the years. Chris successfully completed a mediumship program facilitated by Doreen Virtue, Ph.D., and was a nationally certified teacher of Gabrielle Roth’s 5 Rhythm™ healing movement work. Finally, Chris is a published illustrator and is also author contributor to Gabrielle Roth’s Sweat Your Prayers:  Movement as a Spiritual Practice.
